1. USMC General Victor Krulak, the inventor of the amphibious
Rivkah   (06.02.19)
landing craft used in the Normandy Beach invasion as well as at Iwo Jima and other locations was honored this week at the Marine Corps University in Quantico, Virginia, with opening of the Brute Krulak Center for Innovation and Creativity. The heroes of WWII who landed on beaches in those crafts knew that made the landings possible. If General Victor Krulak has been in charge of the Viet Nam War, maybe there would have been a different outcome since the US Marines are well know for being no better friend and no worse enemy. They fight battles with ferocity but endear the people to them with policies that reflect that mantra of no better friend and no worse enemy. The US Army could learn a lot from the US Marine Corps. General Victor Krulak's son Charles was Commandant of the US Marine Corps in the 1990's and his great grandson Brian Krulak is a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Marines. Few families are as devoted to the defense of this nation than the Krulaks. All three of General Victor Krulak's sons were in the US military. His son Bill was so protected by haShem that when he stepped on a land mine in Viet Nam it did not explode. Family history shows Jewish ancestry, Orthodox Jewish ancestry. Perhaps Israel should honor that family of Jewish descent who migrated to the USA long ago and is part of the diaspora.
2. The age for military service in Scriptures is 20 years.
Rivkah   (06.02.19)
The average age for US WWII GI's was 23 years. The average age of US GI's in the Viet Nam war was 19 years. Winning wars reflects following haShem's guidelines and drafting males or females for the US military under the age of 20 is not wise. Exodus 15:3 says haShem is a Man of War. He knows what is best.

4. I'd surprised if anyone was without PTSD
jochair thijssen ,   kfar saba israel   (06.03.19)
D-day landings were the typical criminal British battletactics of pouring in as many soldiers as possible irrespective of losses, because british officers got promoted according to the number of casualties under their command. so the british preferred soldiers from the commonwealth, rather than their own.with inferior equipment such as sten-guns and malfunctioning landing crafts.
5. to whom goes the honour
jochair thijssen ,   kfar saba Israel   (06.03.19)
Britishcommonwealth soldiers did most of the dying and all the hard work
England apropriates all praise for itself only.
6. FROM 1940-1944 NOT ONE JEW WAS SAVED BY THE ALLIES.
OLEG ,   FLORIDA   (06.11.19)
THE RED ARMY DID MORE TO SAVE JEWS THAN THE AMERICANS AND THE ENGLISH. THE USA LOST 440.000 SOLDIERS. RUSSIA LOST OVER 20 MILLION SOLDIERS.THINK ABOUT IT.
