1. Very misleading headline.
DSM ,   USA   (06.03.19)
Bibi may be many things but to call him a dictator is really a fake and misleading headline. In fact it is a stupid statement.
2. Dissolving Knesset = Dictatorship
NYNY   (06.03.19)
3. Who is really to blame for election shenanigans?
Alan ,   SA   (06.04.19)
4. Alex has a point. Dictatorship is a strong word but editoria
Tehraniporou   (06.04.19)
ls oblige catchy phrases. He points to an unforeseen and toxic situation where there are very few if any checks and balances on bibi, no matter how witty or a good leader he is purported to be
5. Israeli politics
Sam Tayar ,   Montreal   (06.04.19)
The article was read twice & I cannot see the problem. In one sentence can someone summarize? Are the results of the last 10 years good? Could they have been different but better?
6. How many ministries Bibi now heading?
(06.04.19)
A guest being interviewed on i24 listed about 8 or so. Bibi is practically running the government single-handedly. That's a dictatorship. And, empty denial spin aside, Bibi STILL cowtows to the Haredim when it comes to Haredi rule over all Judaic matters to the exclusion of 80% of Israeli Jews and world Jewry. Bibi has long been pulling religious Israel away from the educated modern world back into the anti-education, Haredi 4th century.
7. The Arabs are really amazing...
Once Upon a Time ,   Brevity of Wit   (06.04.19)
They can kill each other, by the hundreds of thousands, over decades, and the political order never changes. Damn! That's staying power!
Egypt v. Yemen
Jordan v. "Palestinians"
Iran v. Iraq
Syria v. Syria
Et al...

TEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED OBVIOUS   (06.04.19)
Sir, an Orchesra ,in order to function well ,needs a strong and decisive conductor who knows the score. Similarly ,Israel is an orchestra ,but a state orchestra and thank G-d it has a strong conductor who is unafraid to call the shots and make decisions. Consequently, israelis not enjoy a peaceful existence ,as good as it can realisticall be, and a strong economy.Bibi deserves our gratitude ,he does not deserve criticism nor blame.
9. How many to screw in a Lightbulb ?
MR CYNIC ,   SAFED CYNIC HOUSE   (06.04.19)
A country does not need 500 people to make a decision, one strong and capable leader is enough ,especially in a jewish country with everybody pulling in different directions .
10. More like a "dictato-cratic" government
(06.04.19)
Because. word.
Prime Minister Mr. Netanyahu is a "dictato-crat" sounds so much gentler, kinder and nicer than out right calling him "Supreme Leader Dictator of Israel Mr. Netanyahu"!
Just saying.
11. Technically we're a democracy so he's a Lame Duck PM
(06.04.19)
but then may-be you're right and he's nothing more or less than a dictator.
Are we splitting hairs yet?
12. Adding to the title
Dr Jack   (06.04.19)
......and Fishman spews GARBAGE!!

What is new at Ynet?? Nothing!!
13. I learn something new every day, something new and false
C   (06.04.19)
the author has never met a dictator or an autocrat.

he lacks the historical knowledge to even begin to comprehend the
meaning of the terms he uses.

it is destressing that see that fishman deliberately confuses the process
of democratic election with the coercion and terror dictatorships.
14. To Alex Fishman :
CAPTAIN OBVIOUS ,   SAFED OBVIOUS   (06.04.19)
If Prime Minister Netanyahu does not " make decisions regarding army operations " who should make those decisions ? the cleaners in his office perhaps ? or the maintenance staff ? how about his hairdresser making military decisions ?
