IT WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED IN THE 1960'S OR 1970'S.ISRAELIS TODAY ARE COLD AND DON'T CARE BUT THEMSELVES WELCOME TO AMERICA.

Bus Drivers are sitting targets, literally sitting ducks. And it takes a special kind of scumbag lowlife to physically attack a Bus Driver ,who people depend on every day. The israeli justice system must severely punish anybody who dares assault these honest and hardworking drivers . Bus Drivers deserve to be appreciated and respected much more.

and the general Israel public should demand and press the Knesset to pass a legislation authorizing the police to arrest any perpetrators of physical assault as a public disorder leading to a jail term and police supervised probationary welfare work according to the grievousness of the crime.

I have a relative who was called in by the police after a woman said she felt threatened by his election post to her in which the relative was saturicly dressed in a kaffiya... absolutely no threat was made, no violence, nothing simply a statement asking if she was racist. I told the relative not to be concerned the police will close the case. Well...they called the relative said they want to close the case IF the relative pays a fine to the police and the "victim". So a lawyer was hired and the case was dismissed no fine but a loan was taken to pay the lawyer. And the family is seriously considering returning to USA. Bottom line is the police will go after innocuous nonsense and try to extract money "a fine" but real criminals are attacking bus drivers with no consequences. Corrupt and dystopian.

WHEN I WAS A LITTLE BOY GROWING UP IN ISRAEL I WAS BEAT UP ON A DAILY BASES BY MOROCAN SFARADIM YOUTH. COMING FROM SCHOOL. THEIR PARENTS WERE PROUD FOR BEATING ME UP. THIS THING STOP WHEN MY FATHER AN EX-RED ARMY OFFICER(POLISH JEW) BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THEIR FATHER.AFTER THE THE POLICE DID NOT WANT TO GET INVOLVE. GREAT COUNTRY THE JEWS CREATED. BUT ISRAEL TO ME IS A JUNGLE STILL. NO CIVILITY.

Give bus drivers a handgun and order them to shoot to kill anyone who is physically violent towards them.Problem solved !

There are cases when bus drivers themselves are to blame for this escalation. It starts with no manners on both sides and ends with violence

Issue drivers with identifiable coloured touch up car spray e.g Yellow . so that attacker can be more easier identified.
