The West Bank and Gaza - and yes, the Golan - belonged to Israel more than 2,000 years ago and they were relinquished to Israel per the 1967 ceasefire agreement. Israel merely agreed to set the West Bank and Gaza aside as semi-autonomous regions for the Palis to live because no Arab country would take them. Israel retains the right to annex both territories at any time for any reason.

Congratulations to you Nadav Katz for your reply to Jonathan Gray. Let me first start by saying that J. Gray is correct by asking since when is a "national home" synonymous with a state? Indeed a "national home" has no meaning in International Law. Your answer, Nadav, was to the point by reminding the word "RECONSTITUTE". Allow me to quote the sentence in the Preamble of the "Mandate for Palestine" voted unanimously by all the 51 members of the League of Nations the 24th of July 1922: "Whereas recognition has thereby been given to the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country"... So reconstituting what? A state that existed before... But there is even more: the "Mandate for Palestine" was part of the "A CLASS MANDATES" together with Iraq and Syria-Lebanon". The definition of the “A CLASS MANDATES” has been described already at the 1919 Paris Peace Conference as follows: "The three countries in the “A Class Mandates” were considered advanced enough politically and economically that a provisional independence could be granted, albeit under the administrative advice and assistance by a mandatory until such time as they are able to stand alone". So the decision was for Iraq, Syria-Lebanon and Palestine to become independent states. The Mandate for Palestine gave the Jewish people the IRREVOCABLE right to settle anywhere on the territory between the Mediterranean Sea and at least the Jordan River (at least because Article 25 of the Mandate became null and void May 14, 1948) including the Golan Heights, and of course the whole city of Jerusalem. The Mandate became International Law, valid to this day, can't be rescinded and is reaffirmed by Article 80 of the United Nations' Charter. So many thanks also to Ambassador David Friedman for his kindness, but it is clear to whom all of the so-called West-Bank by International Law belongs!

annexation means providing 3 Million Palestinians living in the Occupied Territories with Israeli citizenships. It will make Israeli population more or less 50% jews and arabs. That will have to happen sooner or later, without any annexation. And that should bring the end to the zionist experiment. Israel will turn from a hardly "jewish" state into a state of true and equal jewish-arab co-existence.

Judea and Samaria belong to Israel and have for more than 4,000 years. It is way past time for Israel to claim ALL our land.
