He was against new wars and he didn't start one so far and avoided confrontations that would lead to it like the recent one.
He was against O. doing nothing after the toxic gas attack and launched an missile strike against Syrian airfields but informing the Russians in advance.
So far he managed to fulfil his promises but is still despised by the press.
And unlike Mr Mission Accomplished and Mr Drone Warrior, the press will call Mr Bone Spurs out on any failure.
He reminds me on another president who was at war with the press: Wasn't it Mr Watergate who ended the Vietnam war and got an understanding with China?
So in order to avoid new wars let's hope that the next US president won't be the darling of the press either. And for all his personal ills the current one is preferable to many others. It's the outcome that counts!
