1. Same blather
DSM ,   USA   (06.23.19)
As I remember writers were saying the same thing about Iraq being able to inflict heavy casualties on U.S. forces should they invade Iraq. How did that turn out? Now we are hearing the same thing about Iran. A quick all out strike against just Iran's military and bomb making facilities would cripple Iran to a point that they wouldn't threaten the U.S.. No need to commit ground troops.

Will it happen ? I think not as it seems the U.S. is incapable anymore of using massive, overwhelming force, afraid of killing people ( who does that sound like? ). The U.S. can either take on Iran now or take on Iran after it has developed the bomb and delivery systems. Better now, but politics seems to be more important than rationality.

3. Killing People
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (06.23.19)
Somebody pointed out to Trump that Americans killing Iranians in Iran would take the current version of the conflict to a new level.

It does not appear that Iran will bend the knee to the Donald.
4. Iranians laughing themselves silly over spineless Trump
Noodles   (06.23.19)
The lily-livered putz was scared of killing 150 people.

6. Do not send US gentile kids to die for Israel.
Avi ,   NYC   (06.24.19)
If Israel wants to attack Iran by all means-do it with the IDF bumpkins. Or, you may send in American Jews if you want.
No reason for decent gentile kids from the US to fight Israel’s wars.
7. Nonsense!
Moses Katz ,   Tel Aviv   (06.23.19)
Any attack on Iran will lead Iran to completely annihilate Israel through missiles alone.

Get your head out your bottom, Iran is *NOT* Saddam's 2003 Iraq.

9. Trump made an intuitive, not informed, decision
Shachar ,   Eilat   (06.24.19)
It's one moment in a long battle of nerves between the US and Iran. In the current context it is probably the right decision. Iran is cracking under the strain of economic sanctions, corruption and mismanagement. A war could save the regime from it's own population and there is no hurry to retaliate on Iranian provocations. In the end the Persians will have to change their tack to survive and the chances they will attempt to negotiate their way out of the corner is better than the war option. Trump has left the ball in the Iranian court...we will see what they do with it.
10. NONSENSE!

11. Just more delay from the clash that is fated to come
Cameron   (06.24.19)
Wait for it for it is most certainly due to arrive.
