As a committed Centrist I have to take my hat off to Liberman for pointing out that the religious get more fanatical year by year. Our Haredim have never been Zionists and the look at Israel as a good cow to milk. And the National Religious become more immersed in their messianic Zionism that will lead Israel to ruin just as it did 2000 years ago when they believed that Israel could take on the Romans!
The old pragmatic central Religious idea has been lost forever. Clearly living in the galut had a moderating influence then.Today Old Testament is their manifesto today and the wisdom of the Talmud has been forgotten.

Liberman as a moldavian born Hebrew is a moderated believer man .He insists that his daughter and wife are religious Hebrew but not FANATIC .Modern studies of REKIGIOUS FANATISM show that FANARISM IT IS ADDICTIVE as a drug And this is a serious problem .The MESSIANIC feeling around the FANATICS is very dangerous for the present and future of the hebrew people and the Modern Hebre Democracy of ISRAEL Learning from Egypt recent history the failure of Labour and Likud in controlling the MESSIANICS and the FANATICS is very dangerous in security HENCE the political stand of Mr LIBERMAN is very IMPORTANT .In ISRAEL politicians are just starting to understand this security problem LETS WAIT AND SEE
