The police was very wrong at killing a person. He could have de-escalated the situation as he is trained to do so or at worst case scenario, if he felt danger for his life then aim for the leg and not kill. He should be in court for this, no doubt.

On the other hand, causing mayhem and chaos in a country as sensitive and small as ours is unacceptable. Over 100 police were hurt, these are our brothers who put their lives on the line to keep some sense of order. They are all from different backgrounds and ethnicities. The protesters should never hurt our men who protect us.

I hate that many people made it about race, there is no race better than another. I'm sure we all know people that are disgusting from a certain race and people that are kind and honest from that same race. In other words, we all have our bad and good apples. We can't judge an entire race based on the actions of some.

If the Ethiopian community want justice then violence isn't the way, they will get themselves in jail for causing trouble. But the police should punish the rogue policeman behind this incident. Now let's all go back to being Israelis and respecting one another regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. People should not be judged by how they look but how they act. I believe we can all agree to that.

My heart breaks for this family who lost their son - but smashing up cars and burning things will NOT get them the sympathy they need. They will only gain resentment. We are worried about antisemitism in Europe - what about placing more focus right here in Israel on the killing of Ethiopians - and this isn't an isolated incident either - same thing!

The Ethiopian community are treated disgustingly here. The government risked lives to bring them here for a better life - and that's what they get?!?!?!?!? Because of the colour of their skin? They serve in the army, they do their civil duty, some have even committed suicide through culture shock and that's what they get ? It's wrong - it's warped and it needs to stop!

Crush the demonstrations or you will have a major cancer on your hands.

Not just Ethiopians, so stop racistly laying this all on them. The Teimanim were racistly mistreated and abused too, but they are meek. Sepharadim have been racistly mistreated. Russians are being racistly mistreated. Non-orthodox are racistly (DNA "goyim!!!") mistreated. Women are genderly mistreated. All deriving from the same core group.

This is a race problem that cannot be solved until we deal with the core source of racism in Israel.

it is not the first cold blooded murder of an innocent Ethiopian Israeli. It seems, that Israeli cops have a license to murder NON-WHITE Jews.
