Most Israelis & most Jews are not religious and eat non-kosher food. Just because he's the ambassador of Israel, it doesn't mean he has to pretend he is religious. However, Bolsonaro should be more sensitive to his guests & not serve food which may be offensive. I don't think he would serve pork to the Saudis or beef to the Indians.

So WHAT if he ate lobster! Why does he need to excuse himself and make up a line. It's ridiculous - we are NOT Iran (yet) - he should feel free to eat what the hell he wants and not make excuses.
