The Iranian economy is in shambles, run by religious trusts, it is as efficient as the old Soviet Union, the Trump sanctions are crippling it further. It’s birth rate has fallen to below replacement and it has one of the highest rates of drug addiction in the world. They are running out of water and suffer from horrible pollution. The society is utterly demoralized. All they have is fanaticism believed in by a smaller and smaller percentage of the population. When their post revolution baby boom retires there will be no one to support them. They will collapse just like the old Soviet Union.
