1. This article is incorrect.

"This is the first time Israeli government has agreed to sign a free trade deal, the benefits of which wouldn’t extend to the Jewish state’s disputed territories."

In fact, the current free trade agreement with the EU also does not apply to the settlements, although the agreement includes a clause stating that Israel does not differentiate between goods produced in the State of Israel and Israeli settlements.
Similarly, the new agreement with South Korea will include a disclaimer stating that the paragraph excluding post-67 territories from customs fees does not alter their status in Israel’s view.

Times of Israel reported on this a month ago. Strange, that Eichner is now making such a basic mistake, even with the benefit of hindsight.
2. Sounds like a good deal for someone

Evidently national interests take precedence over sectional interests.
5. The Israeli Disclaimer makes real sense

Otherwise a "Free Trade Pact" with the U.S. but excluding California, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Texas, all formerly part of Mexico, makes absolutely no sense in excluding a large segment of the American population. The inanity of "Political Correctness" is too costly to contemplate. In view of the Canadian Court decisions on Israeli wines from Judea and Samaria, should Israel boycott and bar importation of Canadian wines? Too much whining and too few trade concessions make absolutely no sense.
6. These figures were obviously obtained through the government
