The temple mount was not holy for Muslims only the mosque.the arEA was a garbage dump until Jewish interest rose 100 years ago.
Its the holiest place in Judaism.
International law clearly support freedom for all to pray on the mount.
As does the Israeli supreme court.
So called status quo is apartheid against non Muslims. Dhimmi law.
The Muslims pushed off prayer for an hour to prevent Jews entering.
Muslims rioted.
Stabbing the other day was carried out from the temple mount.

you don't have festivals and play soccer on your holy site as Muslims do.

What propaganda.

You do realise you are part of the problem with this misinformed article.
4. It is Israel who should summon Jordan Amb. over riots.
Steve Benassi ,   Minneapolis USA   (08.18.19)
Jordan was given control to run the place in orderly fashion and instead it incites for riots.
5. The 'historical' status??? That's a good one.
David ,   Hartford USA   (08.18.19)
The historical status of the site is that it is the location of our Second Temple. Though the Romans destroyed it and the Muslims built on top of the remains of it, the foundation stones and all the archaeological evidence proves a Jewish enterprise. No wonder the Waqf, those cwazy wascals, will never allow archaeologists to dig on the Temple Mount proper.

Jordan can mouth off as much as it wants- the truth doesn't change- and the truth is that the structures on the Temple Mount can be dismantled and moved to Amman and the Third Temple can be built on the actual foundations of the Second Temple.

The 'status quo' is not a good reason for doing nothing. It's time for Israel to declare total sovereignty over the Temple Mount and let the Arabs know they may use it at the pleasure of Israel and that any terrorist activity will reduce that use. That's not too much to ask, is it?

Jordan should hold its tongue. Time for the Temple Mount to be a place of prayer for EVERYONE.

6. Israel Should Unchange Historical Status
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   Ra'anana   (08.18.19)
Restore the Muslim-subverted historical status.
7. This Bibi of ours is squandering the golden opportunity God
(08.18.19)
has sent us in form of President Donald Trump.
Total lack of assertiveness on our part is resulting in keeping the insane status quo at the Mount.
It boggles the mind, that openly hostile and deadly enemy of Judaism & Jews in our own land, is given the role of a Sovereign within OUR borders!
Not even in a "Turkish movie" (as we say here in Zion:-)
8. The Temple Mount = 100% Jewish !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9. JORDAN CAN COMPLAIN LIKE A SCHOOL CHILD TO ISRAEL WHILE
IRANIAN JEW ,   LALA LAND   (08.19.19)
BEIGN too scared and weak to deal and create a unique society with the PALIS that they left behind after wars & threats. The short king can’t even hold on to his seat w/o daily help of Israel & Saudis, but to safe his little face, he needs to cry could once in awhile. PALIS are always afraid of talking about the real solution to peace. WB to JORDAN & Gaza to Egypt and this would end the misery for all. However, mullahs will always need excuse to have their jihad show & Palis are the perfect scarp goat and money laundry machine around the world.
