2. Voters vote, but the govt. decides yeah, that's why I'm all

in for benevolent dictatorship: at least nobody's fooling anyone.
Two terms dictatorial rule, then voting whether people like the dictator & his style.
If yes: two more terms...
3. No name is made fun of by Trump
Steve Benassi ,   Minneapolis USA   (09.17.19)
While the idiot claimed Trump doesn't pick up Netanyahu phone the two were busy discussing a defense treaty US Israel.
4. Barney's cynicism is enough proof for him.

He doesn't need facts.

"Martin Indyk, Obama's peace envoy was right when he tweeted Saturday that the prime minister was amenable to having American troops on the banks of the Jordan River during negotiations in 2013-2014, while his current opponent and his then-defense minister Moshe Ya'alon stood firmly against such a move."

As everyone knows, in Israel the Defense Minister cannot just overrule the Prime Minister. It is the Cabinet which decides such steps.
Since there was no Cabinet decision to withdraw from the Jordan Valley, we cannot conclude that Netanyahu's expressing an "interest" in withdrawing translated into any concrete plan. We know that at the time John Kerry was applying massive pressure on Israel to concede, and Netanyahu may have wanted to be seen to be amenable to concessions in order to relieve some of that pressure. The fact remains Netanyahu never signed off on any decision to withdraw, and verbal statements alone do not carry any weight.
5. JPost reported Netanyahu REJECTED Kerry's "Peace Plan"
Jake   (09.17.19)
in 2016 at a secret meeting in Aqaba.

Moreover, according to the Times of Israel in 2018, Kerry himself stated that Netanyahu REJECTED the 2014 Allen Plan, which would have included a withdrawal from the Jordan Valley.

"Kerry notes that Netanyahu rejected a regional security plan drafted by US Gen. John Allen that would have required a gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops from the West Bank. The plan called for US troops to guard the border of a future Palestinian state, with Israeli troops ready to resume security control of the West Bank “in full force within hours.”

But after the meeting between Kerry, Allen, and Israeli leaders, Netanyahu rejected the plan, insisting that Israel needed to maintain a long-term military presence in the West Bank."

Indyk and Barnea are surely aware of this...

6. netanyahu is full of it
marv   (09.17.19)
smooth talker, he is frenetic, and incapable of calmly setting out a plan for any kind of major war. he always chases ceasefires that limit Israeli gains. he sits there like a dodo in meetings not able to lead. For ex, against Iran and now right up to the election, he reportedly was set to launch a war or big operation only to be vetoed by generals. he has no firm conviction of his own. that his why he fades and never delivers anything in security. he spends most of his time running to his buddies Vladimir who plays him for a sucker or slavishly kissing trump's rear end. anyone could see it.

the only reason he is pm is the opposition has been unbelievably weak. peres, olmert and peretz, even barak, have all been terribly weak in thwarting terror or dealing with hezbollah iran.

do not vote for bibi or gantz.

vote for shaked and bennett.
