Israelis like to claim to the world "We're the only democracy in the Middle East" but whenever it comes time to form a government both the left and the right proclaim "We would never partner with Arabs." Remember, these are Arab CITIZENS and they are not against the existence of the State of Israel.

Imagine how you feel if the situation was reversed and a Christian or Muslim government said "We will never form a government that includes the Jews."
