1. Oh Gevaltz ! Really ? 3rd election will show change ?????
barbara ,   Haifa   (09.20.19)
The only thing 3rd election will do - is cost the country more money and deeper in debt than now.
2. 3rd elections? Not so easy
(09.20.19)
Basic Law: Knesset states that new Knesset elections require the Prime Minister or the Knesset to vote to disband itself (that ain't happening a 2nd time) or that because the national budget hasn't passed the Knesset must vote to disband itself and call elections.
At the moment the only way for the Knesset to be forced to disband is if there is no new national budget...this could happen.

But thing is between the 1st and 2nd elections this year Netanyahu and Likud lost 8 seats. If we need to go to elections a 3rd time Likud party will be utterly collapsed.

I for one don't think we are going to 3rd elections, but at the moment my crystal ball is in for repairs! :)

So as the Zen Master used to say "We'll see!"
3. Politicians behaving like babies.
Sam ,   Montreal   (09.20.19)
It should be a Netanyahu-Gantz coalition. There should be a rotation and no other parties involved to hinder decision making and to suck out the money for cabinet posts. That's what makes sense.
4. There was a clear winner: 55 Right vs. 44 Left
Jake   (09.20.19)
Add the 7 right-wing seats held hostage by Liberman, and the Right has 63.

But yes, it looks like more elections are coming. After Netanyahu is cleared of bogus corruption charges, he will be in prime position for round 3.
5. Long live King Bibi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ksm ,   Jerusalem   (09.20.19)
Best man for PM....even for the Arabs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6. The issue at hand is very clear
Tomer ,   Jerusalem   (09.20.19)
Gantz and netanyahu both comitted to a national unity government. The only thing preveventing that is netanyahu insisting he will lead that government and will not step aside to deal with his legal problems.however he is the looser of these elections and still he thinks only about his future and not of the countries future. Bibi do the right thing, step aside, deal with the courts and come back once found not guilty. For the good of israel.
7. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THERE ARE ENTIRELY TOO MANY PARTIES
Iranian Jew ,   LALA LAND   (09.20.19)
This the real meaning of democracy, however it ends up stalling the election process. The 3rd election will result in the same way. We must avoid becoming like Lebanon. BB just does not wan to go away. He still has too much presence and if he really wants progress fro Israel, then he needs to make the sacrifice and retire from politics. He can be a great permanant U.N. Ambassador for Israel. However, he will not accept it, and will consider this as a huge insult and demotion. BB now only cares for himself and his legacy.
8. Bibi want to keep on holding elections till he gets result
Alan ,   SA   (09.20.19)
he wants. Someone tell Bibi that elections cost millions
9. OUT OF THE BOX SOLUTION !
FO ,   Belgium   (09.20.19)
Well here it is ! A government formed between Kahol-Lavan and Likud, Benny Gantz as Prime Minister and Benjamin Netanyahu as Foreign Minister. As public relation figure, hard to find better than Bibi!
10. above
moishe   (09.21.19)
proportional rep elections are great in theory but problems in practice.
11. אני כועס!!!!!
David ,   Israel   (09.24.19)
אני כועס שהייתי צריך לבחור עוד פעם. אני לא רוצה עוד בחירות
