The writer of this article makes a point that Likud has set pre-conditions in negotiations (voting as a right wing block of 55) while BW has not set preconditions.

Where is the honest reporting here? Isn't that fact that BW will not sit in a Netanyahu Gov't a pre-condition??

Lapid is happy for a unity government with or without Netanyahu as long as Likud are the junior partner and there is no rotating Premiership with Likud.
If there is a rotating Premiership between Netanyahu and Gantz then there is no way Lapid will get his shot at the top job because rotations are bade enough but 3 different Prime Ministers within a space of 3-4 years is extreme even for Israelis dysfunctonal political system.

Its also unlikley that next time round Gantz will run with Lapid, once he has been PM even if its just for 1-2 years ge doesn't need Lapid, Yaalon and Ashkenazi anymore so this is probably Lapids last chance to ever be PM and so he doesn't want to see Gantz give it to Netanyahu.
