I have always been a big supporter of the Prime Minister but I have to admit he has really disappointed me in these elections. He seems to have decided to take a page from Trumps playbook and just insult his political opponents with names and try to make the public afraid to vote for anyone but him. You don't call a party with three former IDF generals, people who have spent their lives defending Israel and risked their lives defending Israel-"leftists". That is absurd. You also don't make the public afraid of Arab Israelis, who are citizens and have the right to vote. If you are running for Prime Minister you have to be the prime minister of all Israelis, including those who vote for another party. That is the nature of democracy. Insulting political opponents is beneath the dignity of the office you are trying to get. It worked for Trump but the country is worse off because of him. Bibi is showing that he will do anything and insult anyone, even Israeli generals, to keep his job. Maybe he really believes that he is the only one who can do the job. Maybe he just is afraid of the pending criminal charges against him. Whatever it is, he has become petty and his behavior is beneath him. In a democracy, no one is indispensable and no one is irreplaceable. Israel will survive if Gantz becomes Prime Minister. It may not survive if all political campaigns become nothing more than smear campaigns and fear mongering.

There is nothing wrong with Bibi, but like many at age 70+ the time to
bring in a trainee is long past.

Bibi should be a special advisor to the PM.

BW is a one shot wonder.

They cannot deliver the goods.

Should anyone of them join Netanyahu many goodies will come their way.

LAPID GANTZ can't delivera thing.

It's all about money power influence.

Ideology has nothing to do with it.

Netanyahu will remain PM.

HE IS THE BEST YOULL EVER GET.
8. It is time for Netanyahu to "retire in C scale"
Terrorism Survivor   (09.26.19)
that is: Prime Minister Mr. Netanyahu it is time for you to retire while your game is still at the top.
Retire now, and we will respect you and history will be kind to you.

Sir, the time is NOW. R-E-T-I-R-E! Otherwise "the Land will vomit you out!"
For neither we nor the Land will allow you to destroy us in order to save yourself.

Just sayin' Sir, just sayin'!
9. If Netanyahu wins, we all lose!

There is no reason for the State of Israel and her citizens to commit suicide to save Prime Minister Netanyahu from jail time!
If he's smart, and we know he's a smart, smooth operator, he will know it is time to STAND DOWN!
It is time for him to retire, to go on the lecture circuit and make all the money he and his family will want and need.
Go on Sir, the time is now, retire!

12. Rivlin is playing Netanyahu
Vered, Israel   (09.26.19)
Bibi won't be able to form a government, and the chance will fall to Gantz. Likud will dump Bibi and well have a unity government the next day. I used to be proud of Netanyahu but he threw his hat in with the Hareidim and used them to keep him in power. It's unsustainable. You can't have a growing population dependent on welfare, all while holding a religious hold on all of us. With Gantz, the religious can be religious, the secular can be secular, but the Hareidim can start the process of paying for themselves.

Leyb Beilin ,   Swansea, NSW   (09.26.19)
Netanyahu has nothing left to try that he has not tried in recent days. There is no political formation which to resort to form a government with 61 or more seats.

In these circumstances, it would be a gesture of immense political honesty to communicate as soon as possible to the President of Israel his resignation to form a government for having not been able to add nor a seat more.

In the same act, and in pursuit of Israel's supreme good, he must recommend to the President that he ask B&W for the immediate formation of a minority government, which will be unanimously confirmed in the Knesset with the abstention of the 55 seats on the right.

From that moment on, each and every one of the agreements of the new executive must be previously agreed with the block on the right to move forward. This is the only possible unity government between the right and B&W.
