1. Move the Border Fence So the Druze Villages Are in Syria
Jake ,   Dallas   (10.04.19)
Have a vote on it at least.
Let them put their money where their mouth is
If they want to live in Syria, let them.
I suspect if Israel proposed this you would hear the howl of the Golan Druze all the way in China.
2. they took the moey so they cant complain
zionist forever   (10.04.19)
They took the money and so now they must live with the consequences.
As well as building windmills the Israeli government should be increasing settlement activity in the Golan and building the public transport infrastructure because with these things will come economic prosperity for the region both Jews and Druze.
3. what about the birds
dina ,   bar-giora   (10.04.19)
what about the birds? the Golan vultures have a hard enough time already.
4. The great turbine con
pgr   (10.04.19)
If we want to do the copycat thing and follow the example of the fake science renewable energy route, we should expect to see the landscape blighted, even more noise pollution than we already have, and unaffordable electricity rates.

As the Australians and half of Europe are discovering - and finding it neither "green" nor funny.

The cheapest form of energy is being destroyed because of fake news. There is no impact of carbon on the climate, and eminent scientists opposing this nonsense are coming out of their hideouts (having been persecuted and fired for daring to disagree with the climate change cult.

How green can these mass bird killers be? Mass solar panels are also responsible for the horrible deaths of thousands of birds who mistake them for water sources and are fried to death as they so mistakenly land on them.

Turbines also frequently produce far too much energy (and at other times far too little, meaning that conventional power stations are still required as back-up). This can cause massive power surges - let's see how green everyone will be feeling when their comptuers are taken out because of this. They thus discard vast quantities of the energy produced in order to bring levels down. It is a massive, expensive, failed technology. And it is so unnecessary considering that more than 60 percent of the world's carbon emissions are from China and India alone - and they aren't so stupid as to destroy perfectly efficient, cheap energy resources because of theories that have as yet to be proved. Climate change has occurred for tens of thousands of years long before man-made carbon was produced.

We don't need our power bills to be trebled or more, as has happened in other countries, where more and more people are in fact dying of cold (rather than of carbon emissions) because they can no longer afford their "green" power bills.

The world has gone mad with this insane scheme that requires vast expenditure, and in this tiny country, we cannot possibly set up massive wind turbine farms that use up much-needed land needed for agriculture and settlement. The notion of using limited sea areas is also plain ridiculous.

The carbon con must not be allowed to gain ground here.
5. wind turbines already in the Golan ARE ugly, spoil the view
Rafi ,   US   (10.04.19)
check out the scene from Alonei Ha-Bashan to the north toward the Hermon...

the existing turbines are a blot on the landscape - and should be dismantled!

Put them in the Negev or out at sea
6. Rafik the Arab has to dismantle his ignoramus brain
Steve Benassi ,   Minneapolis USA   (10.05.19)
7. NO!NO! to these ugly monsters, that kill Birds and Nature
TheWall   (10.05.19)
8. These disgusting monsters will KILL thousands of BIRDS...
TheWall   (10.05.19)
..millions of birds are migrating thru Israel, and thousands of them will be killed by these disgusting structures. It will be a tragedy for Nature and Birds.
STOP this project NOW!!!
9. 20% of all Israeli Druze voted for anti Israel “ Arab List”
AreDruzeReallyLoyal? ,   Jerusalem   (10.05.19)
The United Arab List is opposed to a “ Jewish” Israeli Homeland all the rest voted the leftist Blue and White only 2% voted Rightest Nationalist Parties
Just how loyal are the Druze they build illegally and the government does nothing they are afraid of the Druze who were trained by Israel militarily many Israelis are questioning their loyalty the Golan Druze are much worse
