Not only has Turkey's FM already denied that this even amounts to a "ceasefire", if you read it's actual terms, you'll see it's *exactly* a repeat of the prior betrayal. Especially Point 9, which ends in:
>include the re-collection of YPG heavy weapons and the disablement of their fortifications and all other fighting positions
The same lie the US pulled before the invasion, only then YPG was silly enough to comply as it trusted that would actually deter it.
In other words, Turkey/US make them a proposal they cannot possibly accept. Trump plays like he's washed off his hands and will now frame the Kurds as "warmongers", uses that excuse to cancel Turkey's sanctions and the invasion continues. Betrayal complete.
