There is no peace.
The whole thing is a farce so Jordanian leaders can get more money they can stick in Swiss bank accounts.

King ABdullah was not so belligerent. The Hashemites were not allowed control in any part of our country. The Hashemites returned Jordan to the people who decided that they are Palestinians seeing as how Jordan was created as Arab Palestine

The elder King was a statesman who took his country where he knew it had to go for peace and prosperity.

The current King has no such vision and prefers to let others think for him.

I've been intrigued with this landscape for 33 years or more, especially in how Jerusalem is administered. I'm a Catholic Christian, so the Western Wall and Temple Mount/Haram al Sharif have a mystical power, but not like, say, with Evangelicals. Short of a UN administration of Jerusalem that might happen when Pie Meets Sky, Israel and Jordan will need each other to keep peace in this very intense and dramatic city. That relationship, while surely not perfect, remains essential in keeping stability in that region. My two pennies from the States.

Idan Grinbaum ,head of the Jordan Valley Regional Council , told the Jerusalem Post : " There is no holiness in the land ,life is much more important than the land " which succinctly and precisely sums up the problem , Israel's arab neighbours / foes are prepared to fight and die and to sacrifice their lives for the land ,but israelis do not value the land and are unwilling to sacrifice, rather they seek the good life . Which is why ,inevitably, the arabs are wearing israelis down bit by bit ,attrition , and force israelis to give away their land and why the arabs will be victorious in the end. In short, israelis do not have the stomach for loss of lives and war.

Not everything can be bought with money .

Is the Israeli leadership ignorant or stupid or both? Naharaim, Tsofar and even the eastern territories of the Jordan River are according to International Law, Jewish-Israeli property! For those who have some knowledge of Zionist history of the first quarter of the XXth Century, but they are very few unfortunately, read the following: the 24th of July 1922, the League of Nations voted the "Mandate for Palestine" that gave the Jews the irrevocable right to settle on the territory between the Mediterranean Sea till the Jordan River, including the Golan Heights, to create their independent state in formation. In fact the territory had to include the eastern part of the Jordan River as well. But Britain, the nominated Mandatory made a treacherous proposal that was accepted under Article 25 of the Mandate, and I quote: "In the territories lying between the Jordan and the eastern boundary of Palestine as ultimately determined, the Mandatory shall be entitled, with the consent of the Council of the League of Nations, to postpone or withhold application of such provisions of this mandate as he may consider inapplicable to the existing local conditions...". Unquote. 14th of May 1948, end of the British Mandate for Palestine, Article 25 became NULL AND VOID!!! Based on the Mandate for Palestine, valid to this day and and reaffirmed by Article 80 of the United Nations' Charter, and its Article 25, being henceforth obsolete, Israel could even claim the territories of the ancient Hebrew tribes of Gad, menashe and Reubeen East of the Jordan River, remember, a rightful claim of the Zionist Movement plan for Palestine in 1919.

Jordan is 1 of the current 57 countries, about 2 billion, all are dictatorships, of the organization of islamic cooperation OIC=the criminal "islam"world caliphate, including Jordan, who do not want peace with Israel (and the rest of the free world). Do not trust Jordan and Egypt (who have both a so-called/fake peace-agreement with Israel) and the rest of the "islam" caliphate. The only country,who wants peace is Israel,in this case and who is democratic.

All about the change very soon. You absolutely have no claim to the occupied land under the UN agreements. You are in big trouble.
