In the same way that the Spaniards made from the sun and the sands of the seas their most profitable industry, Gazans, much more iddle and lazy than the former, found in the old unwritten "treaties" of the Sicilian mafia enough inspiration to work even less than the Spaniards.

Today, Israelis still congratulate themselves because Qatar is paying the monthly 105 million shekels bill for Gazans to eat three times a day and have enought electricity to watch TV at evening.

Before yesterday, they also congratulated themselves when they stopped their monthly payments to the PA, mainly to prevent terrorists from becoming rich with the fabulous stipends they are paid to incentivize the daily stabbings of Jewish children, women and elderly people.

But the following months the rest of the nations, starting with the U.S., also stopped paying the PA and UNRWA. Today, Israel delivers twice as much as before, including stipends increased by 15% to maintain a fragile peace.

That said, it would be convenient for the future Israeli Finance minister to be worried from this moment on how to pay the Gaza bill, but multiplied by two, when Qatar needs that money to strengthen its army against an Iranian event, which may happen before what the most pessimistic believe.

And he ought to give the money to Gazans happy and relaxed because, as expensive as the bill could be, it will be cheaper than a single day of war. These are modern theories about war.
