A fringe lunatic. Please note the IMPORTANT side of this story. Unlike the tens of thousands of peaceful "settlers" he is indeed a fanatic. The Israeli government does NOT make him a hero. The IDF is there to arrest him. His actions are deplored. That is why he is on the news. He is not considered a HERO. He is a criminal.
Compare this to - one third of ALL aid to the Palestinians is awarded to those who murder Jews. Streets and schools are named after Palestinian assassins / terrorists. For them, the greater the crime, the greater the reward.
