A recent Gallup poll surveying the American public's perceptions of 20 nations which are featured regularly in news of US foreign policy ranked Iran "leastliked" and named Canada the favorite.
The poll further indicated that the "axis of evil" nations garnered very little sympathy, with North Korea getting 14% of the votes and Iran getting 10% and the "least favorite" title.
The poll also examined the American public's view of the Palestinians: Some 20% of those polled ranked the Palestinian Authority as "favorable."
Polling history marked favorability toward the Palestinian Authority at 11%-15% during the Bush administration.
