Family members, friends and the entire basketball world accompanied Raz Adam to his final resting place after he was killed in a fatal traffic accident on Route 90, near Sdeh Eliezer, while on his way to an event for his team, Hapoel Galil Elyon. Adam's mother eulogized him: "All my life I thought about what happens when a child is torn from you. Raz was a happy boy, a boy of laughter and humor. When he would come home, the light would come in. How much he loved history. I want to scream, bring him back to me, Razi Raz." His father also bid farewell: "I assume you're here because you respect his personality. A successful boy, watch over me from above."
