Palestinian arrested with 9 crates of munitions

Man confesses thousands of M-16 bullets were meant for Fatah operatives in West Bank

Cleared for publication: The Israel police have arrested a Palestinian man in possession of nine crates of M-16 bullets.
The man reportedly confessed that the he meant to deliver the munitions to Fatah operatives in the West Bank.
The man, who was arrested in the Hadera area following a tip the police received, admitted that his actions were nationalistically motivated.
He is being held on charges of illegally carrying weapons, arms trade, conspiracy to commit a crime and being in Israel illegally.
At the police's request and with the Shin Bet's recommendation, the Hadera Magistrate's Court remanded him for 10 days.
