Cabinet approves law allowing tracking of Omicron cases

The cabinet ministers approved the promotion of a law that would authorize the Shin Bet domestic security agency to track the phones of verified Omicron carries.
Four ministers opposed to the law: Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Biton, Justice Minister Gideon Saar, PMO Minister Eli Avidar and Economy Minister Orna Barbivai.
