Health Ministry posts 7,099 new cases of coronavirus

The Health Ministry reported Saturday 7,099 new cases of coronavirus out of 81,828 tests conducted in the past 24 hours, meaning 8.8% of all tests came back positive.
There are currently 1,128 Israelis hospitalized in serious condition with COVID-19, 310 of them were on ventilators.
The national death COVID-19 toll climbed to 4,245 with 27 Israelis dying of the disease on Thursday alone.
