The Health Ministry reported Wednesday morning that the number of severe coronavirus cases in Israel has dipped to 116.
Of the gravely ill, 68 patients were connected to ventilators.
Meanwhile, 526Israelis have tested positive out of some 92,000 tests carried out since midnight, putting the country's contagion rate at 0.58%.
Since the onset of the pandemic in Israel, 8,199 people succumbed to complications of COVID-19.
