Lapid speaks with Egyptian counterpart

Foreign Minister Yair Lapid spoke Sunday with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukri.
The two expressed satisfaction with the meeting between Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
Shukri's office said the Egyptian lawmaker stressed to Lapid the need to revive the negotiations process between Israel and the Palestinians, and that Egypt was continuing its efforts on the issue.
The two also talked about strengthening economic relations between Israel and Egypt and the potential for increased trade and business activity.
