Shooting near Egyptian Embassy in Tel Aviv: Security guard fired following confrontation with delivery driver

Police updated that following the shooting incident near the Egyptian Embassy in Tel Aviv, preliminary investigation reveals that a Border Police officer serving as a security guard at the embassy fired his personal weapon after a confrontation developed between him and a delivery vehicle driver near the compound. The driver, a 22-year-old resident of Rishon LeZion who fled the scene, was located a few minutes later and detained for questioning along with the delivery vehicle. There is no suspicion of a security incident.
