Education Ministry DG: 'Green Classroom pilot did not fail'

Tamar Trabelsi Hadad|
Director General of the Education Ministry, Yigal Slovik rejected the claims of Health Ministry officials that the Green Classroom pilot - meant to reduce quarantine times for school students exposed to verified COVID-19 patients in low infection cities - has failed.
"I don't understand how on these officials claim that the pilot has failed, and on the other hand ask the coronavirus cabinet to expand the outline to kindergartens and daycare centers in orange localities," Slovik said.
"Obviously there will be infections, but the layout allows for reduced isolations and allows for a continuous learning routine alongside COVID."
