The Israel Defense announced Tuesday it will cancel all exercises for reservists that were planned this month and will limit leave time for frontier soldiers.
In a situation assessment held by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi regarding COVID in the IDF, fresh restrictions were applied, including restricting the gatherings of up to 100 soldiers in closed areas and 200 in open areas.
It was also decided to distribute hundreds of thousands of antigen kits and to establish quarantine complexes in various units. As of today, the IDF has 6,380 confirmed COVID cases and 6,920 are currently in isolation at home.
