U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has resigned from her position following her husband's medical condition, according to a report by Fox News. Gabbard informed President Donald Trump of her expected departure at the end of June during a meeting in the Oval Office, after her husband was diagnosed with an extremely rare type of bone cancer. She served in the role for the past year and a half and led efforts to cut budgets, declassify documents and implement structural changes in the American intelligence community.
