Police commissioner says forces on highest alert during Jewish High Holy Days

Police commissioner Kobi Shabtai said on Thursday that during the Jewish High Holy Days, police forces will be on the highest alert level in light of the increased intelligence indicating possible terror attacks.
The commissioner said the force will bolstering troop deployment, set up roadblocks and increase security in shopping malls, synagogues and other crowded venues.
The commissioner urged the public to be alert. "Have fun and celebrate the Jewish High Holy Days, but also be mindful to your environment. We will respond to any call and arrive quickly," he said.
