A 21-year-old man was killed in a traffic accident on Highway 2 near the Wingate Interchange after apparently stopping on the side of the road due to a technical problem with his vehicle and being hit by a passing car. MDA teams pronounced him dead at the scene and evacuated a 20-year-old woman whose condition was described as moderate. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
