A serious security flaw was discovered in WhatsApp, that could be used by bad actors to destroy WhatsApp groups and erase their history.
The Israeli cyber-security firm Checkpoint found the flaw and sounded the alarm and enabled WhatsApp to make the necessary corrections.
Users are encouraged to make sure they are using the latest version of the app.
