IDF Col. Oren Simcha appointed as commander of Nahal Brigade

IDF Col. Oren Simcha was appointed by Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kohavi as commander of the Nahal Brigade on Thursday.
The appointment was approved by Defense Minister Benny Gantz.
Simcha was appointed after the unit's former commander Col. Sharon Asman collapsed and died during a combat fitness drill earlier this month.
