Foreign Minister Yair Lapid met with French President Emanuel Macron and discussed with him at length the resumption of nuclear talks with Iran.
Lapid's spokesperson said that he "emphasized the Israeli position that Iran is trying to stall talks in order to move forward with its nuclear program, and reiterated the immediate need for the resumption of sanctions by the powers."
It was also reported that the two discussed bilateral relations between the countries, as well as "the possibilities to expand and deepen cooperation on security, economic and other issues."
