Lebanese president: IAF overnight strikes show 'escalation of aggression'

Reuters|
Lebanese President Michel Aoun said on Thursday that Israel's overnight air strikes, the first since 2006, showed an escalation in its "aggressive intent" towards his country.
The IDF struck what it said were launch sites in southern Lebanon after two rockets were fired from the area at northern Israel on Wednesday.
Aoun also said in a tweet the strikes were a direct threat to the security and stability of southern Lebanon and violated UN Security Council resolutions.
