U.S. President Donald Trump's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, said outside the White House in Washington that "we are in Phase II of the deal, and we want to make sure that Phase I of the deal is fully implemented." He said that he would meet with Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani in the U.S. on Thursday, and also referred to Trump's initiative to transfer Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to other countries: "We will have to solve the problem of where they will be transferred. That is a big problem."
