Israel on Sunday evening reported the tally of severely ill coronavirus patients in the country has dropped below 300 for the first time since August.
The Health Ministry said 284 patients are now in severe condition, compared to 307 reported in the morning hours - the lowest the figure has been since August 6.
Of that number, 148 are ventilated. The official death toll now stands at 8,049.
