Prime Minister Yair Lapid invited opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu to participate in the security cabinet meeting scheduled for Sunday.
Netanyahu has refused to attend security briefings, by former prime minister Naftali Bennett and Lapid after losing his election bid last year, despite his legal obligation to do so.
