Hatzor HaGlilit Council head Michael Kabsa criticized the government's decision not to include many communities, including his own council, under the definition of "confrontation line settlements" - which provides significant budgets and benefits. He claimed that "the state is losing the Galilee, perpetuating gaps and busy with slogans." According to him, "There is Galilee A and Galilee B. This state repeatedly loses the Galilee and with its own hands creates an imaginary fault line that tears the Galilee apart and perpetuates gaps." Kabsa and other northern local authority heads who were left out of the program are examining how to proceed, and the possibility of filing a petition to the Supreme Court by legal teams is being considered.
