A brief look at the crew bringing you Yblog, and all of Ynetnews, for that matter
Yblog is a group effort composed by the resident editing and writing staff of Ynetnews. As we believe in transparency, disclosure and open sourcing - and because you are likely to see the occasional disagreement or dissing among the crew - here are bios of your Yblog team:
Alan, our leader, is a Brooklyn-born baby boomer who has been known to wear a fedora pulled low over his eyebrows in conscious imitation of 1940s journalists. He likes to say it is the only hat of its type in Jerusalem that isn't black.
Dan is a swinging bachelor who secretly listens to Thompson Twins and Nik Kershaw CD’s hidden in CD covers of Beethoven and Bach.
Taryn is a former South African who loves to travel and secretly dreams of maturing into the United Nation's first female Secretary-General.
Yigal is a whiskey-drinking humus addict struggling to hide the emotional scars inflicted by repeated exposure to Canadian winters. He gets a kick from reading declassified security briefings but still finds time for local basketball powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv.
