The three were taken to Ashkelon’s Barzilai medical center for treatment.

Several Qassam rockets were launched from the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday, all of which landed in the western Negev. One woman was lightly injured as a result of the attacks.

The al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad’s military wing, claimed responsibility for the attacks. An Islamic Jihad spokesman said the rocket was fired as part of the ongoing response to “Israel’s crimes in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip”.

On Sunday, IDF helicopters fired at launching cells in response to the rocket attacks. According to official Palestinian sources, two Islamic Jihad gunmen were killed and four injured.
