Palestinians: Gunman behind Kissufim crossing attack dies of injuries
Palestinian sources said Hussein Shamya, the gunman from the Salah al-Din Brigades of the Popular Resistance Committees who carried out the attack which killed an IDF soldier near the Gaza-Israel border about two weeks ago, has died of his wounds at a hospital in Egypt.
Shamya was injured in an Israel Air Force strike just a few hours after the border attack. (Ali Waked)
