State considering plea bargain in Rose Pizem murder case

Tel Aviv District Prosecution said to be considering plea offer made by mother, grandfather suspected of killing four-year-old last summer. If accepted, plea will see Ronny Ron serve life sentence

Marie Charlotte Renault and Ronny Ron, the prime suspects in the murder of Renault's four-year old daughter Rose, are reportedly seeking a plea bargain with the State Prosecutor's Office.

Sources in the State Prosecutor's Office told Ynet that a final decision in the matter will be made in a matter of days.

Attorney Gil Friedman, for Ronny Ron, told Ynet that "there have been various overtures over the past few months but nothing has been finalized. These are options and nothing more at this point. Right now, the trial is ongoing."
