UN: Militias could trigger Lebanon fighting

The UN. secretary-general is warning that the presence of armed Hezbollah and Palestinian militants in Lebanon is contributing to tensions and insecurity and could eventually lead to a resumption of hostilities.
Ban Ki-moon's six-month report to the Security Council on Lebanon, obtained Wednesday by The Associated Press, focused on implementation of a 2004 resolution that calls for the disbanding of all militias. (AP)
