French court acquits Israeli doctor of libel over al-Dura case
France's Supreme Court has overturned a ruling from 2011, opting to acquit an Israeli doctor accused of libel by Jamalal-Dura, the father of Palestinian boy Mohammed al-Dura killed in September 2000 in the Gaza Strip.
In April 2011, a Paris courthouse ruled that Dr. Yehuda David, a physicians who treated Jamal, slandered him after the doctor exposed personal medical information claiming the father's scaring was caused by a previous injury and not by the IDF. (Aviel Magnezi)
