Jennifer Lopez joins long line of international stars set to perform in Israel; slated to hold concert in Tel Aviv this fall

Jennifer Lopez is joining a long line of international pop and rock stars, including Madonna, Morrissey and the Red Hot Chilly Peppers, who are slated to perform in Israel this summer. The American star is set to hold a concert in Tel Aviv this coming fall, in October or November, Yedioth Ahronoth reported.

The concert is set to take place in Tel Aviv's Nokia Arena. Lopez will sign the contract in the coming days and announce a date for the show.

Earlier this year, the singer announced a joint tour with Enrique Iglesias. In Israel, however she will be giving a solo performance.

J-lo, 42, is an American actress, dancer, businesswoman and recording artist. She broke into the global scene in the late 1990s, first as an actress and later as a recording artist.

Another star that is heading to Israel is 1960s pop sensation Tom Jones who is set to perform in Tel Aviv this fall. Jones, 72, is the voice behind such hits as "Delilah," What's New Pussycat" and "Sex Bomb."

Earlier, in July, two of the 1980s biggest pop stars Paul Young and Samantah Fox will be performing in Eilat as part of a special music festival celebrating the 1970s and 1980s.
